We are very excited to invite you to our Total Escape Retreat, which we will be holding at BlueGreen Sanctuary, nestled in the hinterland behind Byron Bay.
This 5 day retreat is an opportunity to step back from the pressures of day to day life, to restore quietness to your mind and ease you back to the creative joy of your true centre.
Yoga & Daily Rhythm
Each day includes two yoga sessions held in a stunning purpose-built studio surrounded by trees and birdsong.
Morning practices are more dynamic and enlivening — awakening energy, strength, and clarity. Evening sessions are slower and deeply soothing — designed to regulate the nervous system and create space for rest within.
Throughout the retreat we will also offer workshops on Ayurveda, asana, pranayama, and meditation, giving you practical tools from the yoga tradition that can be integrated into your daily life long after the retreat ends.

BlueGreen Sanctuary was named to evoke the vast blue sky and distant mountains, and the rich green rainforest, macadamia groves, and coffee plantations that surround it.
Set across five acres of subtropical landscape, the property offers a sense of seclusion, beauty, and calm that is immediately felt upon arrival. During your stay there is ample time to explore or simply rest — wander amongst the trees, read beside the pool, enjoy quiet reflection, or connect with others around the fire pit in the evening while rainforest sounds fill the air.

Our group will have exclusive use of the entire property for the retreat.

The accommodation is peaceful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with inspiring creative details in every corner. Most rooms have ensuites
Pricing ranges from $3000 single occupancy and $2500 twin share through to $4300 single occupancy and $3500 twin share

Nourishing Food

You will be nourished with three organic vegetarian meals daily, lovingly prepared by renowned Byron Bay plant-based chef Aja Schofield.
Every detail is taken care of so you can arrive, exhale, and settle immediately into retreat mode
Aja’s cooking is inspired by:

- International culinary traditions

Her philosophy is that food is not simply nourishment — it is a pathway to vitality, healing, and connection with nature’s rhythms.
Byron Bay coffee and organic teas are available throughout the day, and we close the retreat with a beautiful organic celebration lunch on our final day.
Your Teachers
The retreat is led by senior yoga teacher Amelia Disspain alongside yoga therapist and physiotherapist Liz Bennett.
With a combined experience of over 40 years, Amelia and Liz offer a depth of knowledge that supports both beginners and experienced practitioners. Their approach blends traditional yogic wisdom with modern therapeutic understanding, creating a safe and transformative environment for every participant.
